SAF-184 Anti-foam is a water dispersible silicone emulsion that is useful in controlling foam in high pH aqueous systems. SAF-184 is manufactured with the finest pH resistant silicone compounds and a strong emulsifier system. The strong emulsifier system will prevent the silicone compound, when released from the emulsion, from accumulating downstream and thereby keep the system free from silicone buildup. SAF-184 offers excellent foam knockdown and foam suppression compared with standard type defoamers.
SAF-176 Anti-foam is a 10% active silicone treated powder. SAF-176 may be added directly to water-based systems or alternatively, may be blended into detergent powder formulations. SAF-176 offers enhanced foam knockdown and greater pH resistance as compared with SAF-160.
