R1010 is a water based semi-permanent mold release agent intended where it is desirable for the mold release coating to cure at ambient or slightly elevated temperatures. R1010 can also be used in hot molding applications. The service temperature is up to 400°F. R1010 is very well suited for FRP mold release and has excellent release for epoxy, polyester, ABS, nylon, polyurethane and many other resins and elastomers, with the exception of silicone. R1010 cures quickly. Molding can begin as soon as the water has evaporated.
