Silchem offers a full range of silicone emulsions used in auto care product formulations for the tire and vinyl shine industry. Leading formulators and manufacturers use silicone emulsions to make their products effective, providing gloss and longevity. Silchem emulsions provide the look that car enthusiasts love. In many jurisdictions solvent based tire shines are now banned due to environmental and health concerns. Silchem’s water based emulsions are gaining in popularity. Silchem offers custom designed products where viscosity and solids can be adjusted to meet customers’ specific needs. |
SEM101 is a 50% silicone emulsion formulated to form a durable water repellent film. SEM101 imparts good gloss when applied to vinyl, metal, plastic or fiberglass surfaces. The use of SEM101 in various household or automotive polishescleaners will provide good gloss while minimizing smear. This emulsion is generally compatible with other silicone emulsions when formulating polishes andor cleaners.
SEM105 is supplied as a concentrate and is designed to be diluted with water before use.
